Playground tile 50x50x4.5cm (including pins)
This playground tile is ideal if you are looking for a rubber tile for fall protection and reducing the risk of injury. Research has shown that using rubber playground tiles reduces the risk of injury. The playground tiles have been extensively tested through Head Injury Criteria (HIC) testing procedures.
The playground tiles comply with the European standard EN 1177:2018 associated with shock-absorbing surfaces. As a result, playground tiles provide the maximum protection for playing children. The playground tiles with a thickness of 4.5 cm have a safe drop height of up to 1.5 meters. Our playground tiles are available directly from stock. Not the right drop height? Take a look at our thicker play tiles. It is possible to glue the tiles together with our adhesive.
Caution! In the summer months, (black) playground tiles can get very hot in the bright sun. Therefore, pay close attention when children are playing barefoot or with bare legs. Spray the tiles regularly with cold water during play to cool them down.
